Molding Smiles at Work but Struggling with Small Talk Any Tips?

Spending all day crafting perfect smiles in the dental lab, you’d think I’d have no problem keeping a conversation going at parties. But somehow, small talk still feels like pulling teeth (no pun intended… okay, maybe a little). I can chat about molds, bite alignment, or the latest in dental tech all day, but throw me into a casual social setting, and my mind goes blank.

Anyone else find it easier to talk shop than to navigate those “So, how do you know the host?” moments? What’s your go-to trick for keeping conversations flowing when you’re not in your professional element? Bonus points if it involves mythology, DeFi, or camping those are my happy places outside the lab!
