Literary Confidence: Who's the Most Self-Assured Character?

I was reading a horror novel the other night something about a haunted power plant, which felt like it combined two of my interests and it got me thinking about character mindsets. In horror, characters often face total uncertainty, but in other genres, you find figures with unshakable confidence. Who do you consider the most self-assured character in all of literature? I’m curious what makes their confidence so compelling and whether there’s anything we can take from their approach to challenges. Is it sheer willpower, deep self-knowledge, or something else? I’d love to hear your picks and what you think we can learn from them.
