I spend a lot of time thinking about light both in my design work and in my homeschool classroom. It got me wondering how we light up our own work. Some days I feel like a steady, warm lamp, creating a comfortable space where ideas flow easily. Other days, it’s more like a buzzing overhead light that strains the eyes and makes everything feel urgent.
So, I’m curious: when you’re in your productive zone, what’s your lighting metaphor? Are you the cozy, consistent ambient glow, or do you need that bright, direct beam to get things done? And more importantly, how do you switch from a flicker back to a steady light on those tougher days? I’d love to hear what works for everyone.
