Is it possible to run a side-hustle entirely from a crane cab, or am I just dreaming lazily?

Is a crane cab side-hustle realistic, or just a pipe dream?

I spend a lot of my day up in a crane cab, and while I love the view and the work, there’s a fair bit of downtime between lifts. It’s got me wondering if I could put that time to better use. I teach sausage making on weekends, so I’m used to juggling projects, but I’m curious if anyone has actually managed to run a legitimate side business entirely from a similar setup.

My phone gets decent signal up here, and I’ve got a small tablet. I’m drawn to simple, digital ideas maybe something related to my other interests, like writing about paleontology finds or even organizing virtual card game tournaments. Minimalism is a big thing for me, so it would need to be something lean that doesn’t require a ton of physical stuff or constant live interaction.

Has anyone pulled this off? I’m not looking to get rich, just to make the idle hours more productive. What kind of hustles could actually work from a cab with an internet connection? Are the logistics a nightmare, or is it more doable than it sounds?
