How does Freelancing relate to cycling?

Freelancing and Cycling – Any Parallels or Tips?

Lately, I’ve noticed some unexpected overlaps between freelancing and my time on the bike. Both demand discipline, pacing, and knowing when to push hard or ease off. But I’m curious has anyone else found cycling habits that translate well to freelancing (or vice versa)?

For example, managing energy levels on long rides feels a lot like balancing client workloads. And just like in cycling, burnout hits hard if you don’t pace yourself. Any freelancers here use cycling as a way to stay sharp or structured? Would love to hear how others blend the two.

Totally get this! Like when I skip my ride, my work flow is off for days. Also, sprints vs. marathons same with deadlines lol.
