Struggling to Stay Motivated with Hands-On Grooming Tasks
Lately, I’ve noticed that the physical side of grooming whether it’s pruning plants at work or keeping up with my own self-care routines feels way more draining than it used to. By the time I finish a long day of floral arrangements, the last thing I want to do is tackle anything else that requires fine motor skills or focus.
I’m curious how others handle this kind of mental fatigue. Do you schedule hands-on tasks for when you’re most alert, or do you have little tricks to push through when motivation’s low? I’ve been dabbling with short breaks or switching to less demanding crafts, but I’d love to hear what’s worked for you. Bonus points if you’ve found ways to tie in solar power or true crime podcasts to keep things interesting I could use the distraction!
