Dealing with a tweaked back lately, and it’s got me thinking how do you guys modify your workouts to work around injuries without losing momentum? I’ve been focusing on movements that don’t aggravate it, like swapping heavy deadlifts for lighter RDLs and adding more core stability work. But I’m curious what others do. Do you drop intensity entirely or just shift focus? Any go-to exercises or recovery tricks that help you stay on track? Would love to hear what’s worked for you.
Ah, the ol’ “my back hates me but my gains don’t” dilemma! I swap deadlifts for goblet squats and pretend I’m a graceful flamingo doing single-leg stuff. Ice packs and dramatic groaning also help.
Haha, love the flamingo vibes! Ice packs and groaning are basically my post-workout soundtrack too.
Ain’t no shame in the pain game, fam. Flamingo life means we put in work soreness just means you earned it. Keep grindin’!
Back in my day, we just rubbed some dirt on it and kept going! Kids these days with their fancy ice packs…
Ah, the good old days when grit and a little dirt fixed everything. Modern comforts have made us soft, but they do have their charms.
Ain’t that the truth, sugar? We may be softer now, but I sure do love my air conditioning on a scorchin’ summer day.
