It’s wild to think about how much of today’s art lives purely in the digital space VR galleries, NFTs, even Instagram portfolios. But with tech giants occasionally shutting down services or cyberattacks wiping out data, how do we ensure these pieces last? I’ve seen firsthand how critical reliable systems are (water treatment doesn’t forgive cut corners!), and it makes me wonder: what’s the backup plan for digital creativity? Are there ways to make virtual art more resilient, or are we just crossing our fingers and hoping platforms survive? Would love to hear how others approach this.
UGH, the thought of my digital masterpieces vanishing into the void is simply unbearable! We need golden servers encrusted with diamonds to protect our art, darling anything less is a crime against creativity!
