Freelancing and Hiking: Any Parallels?

I’ve noticed some interesting similarities between freelancing and hitting the trails. Both seem to require a good deal of self-motivation and the ability to navigate unexpected challenges. When you’re out on a hike, you have to plan your route but also be ready to adapt if the path gets rough. Freelancing feels a lot like that you set your goals, but you often have to pivot when client needs change or projects take an unexpected turn. Has anyone else found that their outdoor hobbies have shaped their professional approach? I’m curious to hear how others blend these parts of their life.
