Finding Inspiration from Cars in Landscaping Instruction

I’ve always been fascinated by how principles from one field can unexpectedly apply to another. Lately, I’ve been wondering about the connection between automotive design and landscaping. Cars involve careful planning, aesthetics, and functionality much like creating an outdoor space. For those of you who teach landscaping, do you see any parallels? Maybe the way a car’s layout optimizes space could inspire efficient garden designs, or the focus on user experience in vehicles relates to how clients interact with a landscape. I’m curious if anyone has drawn inspiration from unusual places like this in their teaching or projects. What’s your take?
