Exploring the Political Undertones in Pixar’s Cars

I was rewatching Cars the other day and couldn’t help but notice some subtle political themes woven into the story. From Radiator Springs’ economic decline to the way the film portrays corporate interests vs. small-town values, it feels like there’s more going on under the hood. Has anyone else picked up on this? I’d love to hear your thoughts especially from fellow politics nerds. Do you think the movie intentionally mirrors real-world issues, or am I overanalyzing a kids’ film?
