Exploring Side Hustles for Horticulturists – Any Creative Ideas?

I’ve been working in horticulture for a while now, and while I love the work, I’ve been curious about ways to branch out (no pun intended) with some side gigs. I’ve seen people combine their main jobs with side hustles in really creative ways, and I’m wondering how that could apply to horticulture.

For example, could selling custom plant arrangements or offering workshops on urban gardening be viable? Or maybe there’s potential in creating content around plant care, like tutorials or behind-the-scenes looks at horticultural work. I’m also into prop making and music tech, so I’m open to unconventional overlaps like designing plant-themed props or using soundscapes in greenhouse environments.

Has anyone here tried blending horticulture with a side hustle? What’s worked for you, or what seems like an untapped opportunity? I’d love to hear your experiences or even wild ideas!
