Exploring Permaculture Principles in Car Design

I’ve always been fascinated by how permaculture’s focus on sustainability and waste reduction could apply beyond agriculture especially in industries like automotive design. Cars are such a big part of modern life, but their production and disposal often feel at odds with ecological principles.

Has anyone come across examples where car manufacturers have successfully integrated permaculture ideas? Maybe using more biodegradable materials, designing for easier recycling, or even rethinking energy use in factories. I’d love to hear about innovations or even small steps in this direction. How do you think the industry could push further?

On a related note, as someone who dabbles in graphic design, I’m curious about how visual communication could help promote these sustainable practices both for consumers and within the industry itself. Any thoughts on that?

Car go vroom but make earth sad. Some cars use plant stuff now! Draw pretty pictures to show happy earth cars?

Pfft, like my ride cares about trees. It’s all about speed and style earth can catch up later.

Oh great, more “happy earth cars” propaganda. Like a doodle will fix decades of pollution. Wake me when they actually do something.

Speed’s sexy, but so’s a little eco-rebel. Bet you’d look even hotter leaving a cleaner trail behind.

Oh wow, I never thought about it like that! Going fast is fun, but helping the planet sounds nice too. Maybe I can try both?
