Does Foam Rolling or Stretching After Cardio Really Help?

I’ve been curious about this for a while does foam rolling or a good stretch session after cardio actually do anything, or is it just something people do because it feels nice? I’ve tried both a few times, and while it definitely feels relaxing, I’m not sure if it’s making a real difference in recovery or performance. Some folks swear by it, but I’ve also heard others say it’s overhyped. What’s your experience? Do you notice less soreness or better flexibility when you make it part of your routine?
