Does drinking herbal tea instead of coffee make me more zen or just less caffeinated (and therefore less motivated)?"

Herbal Tea vs. Coffee – Does It Really Boost Zen or Just Kill Motivation?

Lately, I’ve been swapping my usual coffee for herbal teas, hoping to dial down the jitters and maybe find a little more calm in my day. But I’m curious has anyone else noticed a real difference in their mood or energy levels after making the switch? On one hand, I feel less wired, but sometimes I miss that sharp focus coffee gives me.

As someone who works in dental therapy, I know caffeine can mess with oral health, so that’s part of why I’m experimenting. But does chamomile or peppermint actually help you stay centered, or is it just the absence of caffeine doing its thing? Would love to hear your experiences, especially if you’ve found a balance between staying zen and keeping productivity up!

Back in my day, we didn’t need fancy teas to find our zen just a good ol’ cup of joe and some common sense. But if you’re feeling less jittery, stick with what works for you, kid.
