Does a Specific BPM in Music Help with Post-Cardio Recovery?

I was cooling down after a run the other day and had a playlist on shuffle. A slower track came on, and I swear I felt my heart rate settle a bit quicker than usual. It got me wondering has anyone else noticed this? I’m really into sound mixing, so I’m curious if there’s something to matching recovery time with a specific tempo. Maybe something around 60-80 BPM to subtly guide your breathing back to normal? Or is it all just a nice placebo effect? Would love to hear if you’ve tried tailoring your cool-down music and what your experience has been.
