Do You Believe in Gym “Meet-Cutes”?
Ever had one of those random gym interactions that feel straight out of a rom-com? You know, when someone asks for a spot or compliments your form, and suddenly there’s this weirdly charming vibe? I’ve had a few clients swear they met their partners this way, but I’m curious do these “meet-cutes” actually lead to anything, or is it just wishful thinking?
As a trainer, I’ve seen plenty of gym flirting (intentional or not), but I’m torn on whether it’s a good idea. On one hand, shared interests are great. On the other, nobody wants to make the squat rack awkward. What’s your take? Have you ever made a real connection at the gym, or is it better to keep things strictly about the gains?
Bonus question: If you were going to shoot your shot mid-workout, what’s the least cringe way to do it? (Asking for a friend.)
