Discipline: Gravity or Warp Drive for Achieving Goals?

Lately, I’ve been pondering the role of discipline in reaching our goals. Is it more like gravity something that keeps us steadily on track, even if progress feels slow and incremental? Or is it more like warp drive, propelling us forward in leaps and bounds when we tap into it? As someone who works in exhibition design, I see discipline as a kind of structure, but I’m curious how others experience it. Do you find it’s more about consistency and small steps, or do you have moments where discipline feels like a sudden burst of momentum? Would love to hear your thoughts!
