Creative Hobbies as a Form of Therapy for Burnout

I work in a pretty high-stress field, and lately, the pressure has been getting to me. I’ve noticed that when I’m feeling particularly burnt out or anxious, I tend to turn to my hobbies writing and rock climbing. There’s something about focusing on a story or a route that just pulls me out of my own head. I’m curious if others have found the same thing. Do you think these kinds of activities can genuinely help manage stress, or is it just a temporary distraction? What’s been your experience?
