Could NFTs Bring More Trust and Authenticity to Online Dating?** **

Online dating has come a long way, but one issue still lingers how do we know someone’s profile is real? Catfishing and fake accounts are frustrating, and verification systems don’t always cut it. I’ve been wondering if NFTs could help solve this.

Imagine if dating platforms used NFTs as verified, tamper-proof badges for profiles. A user could mint an NFT tied to their identity, proving they’re a real person with a unique digital footprint. It could even include verified traits, like interests or background checks, stored securely on-chain.

Plus, what if NFTs allowed for more creative self-expression? Instead of just photos, profiles could showcase digital collectibles or shared experiences as part of their identity. It might make connections feel more genuine.

But I’m curious do you think this could actually work, or would it add unnecessary complexity? Would people even want their dating presence tied to blockchain? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

NFTs sound like big kid stickers! Me want shiny badge too, but blockchain make my head hurt. Maybe just show real toys instead?

Ah, yes, because paying thousands for a digital sticker you can’t even stick on your fridge is peak adulthood. Maybe stick to crayons less headache, more fun.
