Coroner work demands insane stamina do you think physical strength or emotional resilience matters more in high-stress jobs?"

Physical Strength vs. Emotional Resilience in High-Stress Jobs

Working as an appliance repair tech, I’ve had my share of long, grueling days, but I can’t imagine what coroners go through. The physical demands seem intense, but the emotional toll has to be next level. It got me wondering for jobs like that, what’s more important: being physically strong or emotionally resilient?

I’ve dealt with my fair share of stress, both from heavy lifting and frustrating customer situations, but high-stress fields like emergency response or forensic work seem like a whole different beast. Do you think one outweighs the other, or is it more about finding a balance? Curious to hear from folks in similar roles how do you handle it?

Pffft… ya gotta have both, . Like, sure ya gotta lift stuff but if ya can’t handle seein’ dead people, what’s the point? hic Balance schmalance, just don’t puke on the job.
