Carbs as Fuel for Long Voice Acting Sessions

So I’ve been seeing a lot of talk lately about cutting carbs, and I’m a little confused. I work as a field tech, which keeps me on my feet, but my real passion is voice acting. When I’m in the booth for a four or five-hour marathon, my brain and voice need serious energy. Honestly, a solid bowl of oatmeal or some rice beforehand makes a world of difference I feel focused and my stamina is just better.

It seems like every other fitness post treats carbs like they’re public enemy number one. But if they’re such a bad thing, why do they work so well for endurance stuff like this? I’m not talking about junk food, just good, whole sources. Maybe I’m missing something. How do other people in demanding creative or mental fields handle their nutrition? Do you prioritize carbs for energy, or have you found a different approach that keeps you going strong?
