Can Video Games Help Teach Ethics in Agricultural Science?

Lately, I’ve been bouncing around this idea could video games actually help people understand the tough ethical choices in agricultural science? I work with horses, but I’ve always been fascinated by how we balance progress in farming with things like sustainability and animal welfare. Games simulate complex systems all the time, so why not use them to explore the trade-offs in biofuel production, GMOs, or land use?

Has anyone come across games that tackle these topics? I’m curious if there’s something out there that doesn’t oversimplify the challenges. Maybe a farming sim with deeper ethical consequences, or a narrative-driven game where choices impact ecosystems? Would love to hear your thoughts or recommendations!
