Can Stoicism Help Me Design Costumes Without Overthinking?

Lately, I’ve been obsessing over every detail of my costume designs worrying about how they’ll be received, whether they’re original enough, or if they’ll just fall flat. It’s like my brain won’t let me just create without second-guessing everything. I’ve heard Stoicism mentioned a lot for handling criticism and staying focused, but could it actually help quiet that overthinking part of my brain?

For those who’ve dabbled in Stoic practices, how do you apply them to creative work? Does separating your self-worth from the outcome actually make it easier to take risks and just enjoy the process? Or am I better off embracing the chaos and trusting my gut? Would love to hear how others tackle this kind of creative paralysis.
