Can Opposing Self-Care Habits Work in a Relationship?

Lately, I’ve been noticing how differently my partner and I unwind. For me, a perfect evening involves getting my hands dirty in the garden or experimenting with fermenting veggies there’s something so satisfying about the process. Meanwhile, my partner’s go-to relaxation is curling up with a good TV binge. At first, it seemed harmless, but I’m starting to wonder if these contrasting approaches to self-care could create tension down the line. Has anyone else navigated a relationship where your ways of recharging are totally different? How do you balance it without feeling like you’re on completely separate wavelengths? Would love to hear your experiences or tips!
