I’ve been working as a home inspector for a while now, and the physical demands can sneak up on you crawling through tight spaces, climbing ladders, or hauling gear all day. I’m curious how others have used strength and endurance training to make those tasks easier.
Right now, I focus on functional movements like squats and deadlifts to handle bending and lifting, but I wonder if adding grip strength or core stability work would help with balance in awkward spaces. And for endurance, I mix in some hiking or rucking to simulate long days on-site.
Anyone else in a similar line of work found a routine that keeps you feeling sharp without burning out? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you.
