So I’m trying to shake up my routine and find workouts that feel a little more connected to what I love outside the gym. I work in recycling, which keeps me on my feet, but I’m also really into film production and archaeology. I’m hoping to bring some of that creative and exploratory energy into my training.
I’m curious has anyone found ways to incorporate hobbies or interests into their fitness? Maybe something like simulating the endurance for a long day on a film set, or exercises that build the kind of functional strength useful for a dig? I’m in a pretty hopeful place with my fitness right now and would love any ideas that feel less like a chore and more like an extension of my other passions. What’s worked for you?
