Anyone else feel ancient in Web3 after farming airdrops for years?

Just hit my third year of non-stop yield farming and airdrop chasing, and it hit me I might be a Web3 boomer now. Remember when gas fees were under $10 and you could farm a new protocol with just a MetaMask wallet? Now every project needs a Discord grind, a Twitter thread analysis, and a DAO governance vote just to maybe break even.

Anyone else have that moment where you realize you’ve been around too long? Like when you catch yourself explaining “the good old days” of DeFi to newbies or sighing at another “innovative” ponzinomics twist. How do you stay motivated without burning out? Do you just embrace the grind or pivot to something less chaotic? Curious how other long-timers are handling it.

Haha totally feel this! Remember when farming felt like free money and not a second job? I keep going by focusing on the wild ride – the chaos is what makes Web3 fun!

The game changed, kid. Used to be you could smell a scam from a mile away now they polish the turds so shiny even the vets get fooled. Either you adapt or you end up another ghost in the blockchain graveyard.
